Descripción del programa

This comprehensive three-day ILAE International Workshop focuses on electroencephalography (EEG) during the first year of life, combining expert-led lectures with interactive, hands-on practical sessions.

The program provides participants with an opportunity to strengthen their understanding and interpretation of EEG in neonates and infants. Topics include normal EEG maturation, abnormal EEG patterns and graphoelements, as well as the range of seizures and epilepsies commonly encountered in day-to-day clinical practice.

A key component of the workshop is the practical training. Participants will work in small groups to review and discuss EEG examples under the supervision and guidance of experienced faculty tutors. This interactive format is designed to promote active learning, clinical reasoning and practical interpretation skills.

The workshop is aimed at paediatric neurologists, epileptologists, neurophysiologists and neonatologists who care for neonates and infants with seizures or epilepsy.

Participation is limited to 100 attendees. Early registration is therefore strongly recommended. Basic knowledge of EEG is required to participate in the course.
